AI Content, Likeness & Consent Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

GrownCo Media (“GrownCo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a business registered in India (GSTIN 24GAXPP1055B1ZM) with its office at A-504, The Crown, Opp. Kalhar Bungalows, Gangotri Circle, Nikol, Ahmedabad 382350, Gujarat, India. You can reach us at info@growncomedia.com.

AI lets us make videos faster and at a lower cost, but it also makes it possible to copy a person’s face or voice, or to make something look real when it isn’t. This policy sets out the rules we follow on every project, so our clients, the people who appear in our videos and the viewers who watch them can trust what we make. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. People direct, AI produces

We use generative AI tools for images, video, voices, music and editing. People at GrownCo plan every project, write or approve every script, check every frame and approve the final file. We do not publish raw AI output without human review.

2. Digital twins, avatars and voice clones of real people

  • Consent first, always. We only create an AI version of a real person’s face, body or voice with that person’s written, informed consent. A company cannot give consent on behalf of its founder, employee or brand ambassador; the person must sign.
  • Clear scope. The consent states what the twin or voice will be used for, the brands, platforms, languages and territories, and for how long.
  • Right to withdraw. The person can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. We then stop making new content with their likeness and delete their recordings and models. Content already published is handled as agreed in the client’s contract.
  • No unauthorised likeness. We do not recreate celebrities, public figures, politicians, influencers, competitors’ staff, private individuals or deceased people without documented permission from the person or their legal representatives.
  • Children. We do not create a digital twin of anyone under 18 without verifiable written consent from a parent or legal guardian, and never for content that is inappropriate for a child.

3. AI presenters and creator-style (UGC) ads

  • Our AI presenters are either fully synthetic characters or licensed stock avatars. They are not real customers.
  • Creator-style ads are dramatisations of how a product is used. They must not be presented as genuine reviews or testimonials from real customers, and they must not claim results the product cannot deliver.
  • Clients are responsible for following the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements, the ASCI Code (including its guidelines on influencer and virtual-influencer advertising) and similar laws in other countries, including any requirement to disclose that a presenter is AI-generated.

4. Labelling AI content

Platforms such as Meta, YouTube, Google and TikTok require or recommend labels for realistic AI-generated or altered content, and laws in India and other countries increasingly require synthetic content to be identified. We tell our clients which labels apply, can add on-screen disclosures, and will not remove or hide labels that the law or a platform requires.

5. Content we will not make

  • Deepfakes or any content intended to deceive people about who said or did something.
  • Political or election content that impersonates candidates, officials or real voters, or misrepresents facts.
  • Fake news, fake documents or impersonation of government bodies, banks or other organisations.
  • Sexual or sexually suggestive content involving real people, and any content that sexualises minors.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content that promotes violence or discrimination.
  • Health, medical or financial claims without proof, or promises of guaranteed cures, returns or income.
  • Use of other brands’ logos, trademarks, characters or copyrighted works without permission.
  • Anything that breaks Indian law, the law where the content will be shown, or the policies of the platform it is made for.

We may refuse a project, stop work or remove our content if we believe it breaks this policy.

6. How we handle likeness and voice data

Photos, videos and voice recordings used to build a digital twin are stored in access-restricted folders, used only for the client the consent was given for, and deleted within 90 days after the project or retainer ends, or sooner on request. Where an AI tool lets us stop customer material being used to train its models, we use that setting. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

7. What AI can and can’t promise

AI tools can produce results that look similar for different users, and the law on copyright in AI-generated content is still developing. We explain these limits before starting, and our Terms of Service describe the rights you receive in the final content.

8. Report misuse

If you believe content made by GrownCo Media uses your face, voice or work without permission, or breaks this policy, email info@growncomedia.com with the subject “AI content report”, a link to the content and how to contact you. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours, review them within 72 hours, and where we made the content, work with our client to remove or fix it.
