GrownCo Media (“GrownCo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a business registered in India (GSTIN 24GAXPP1055B1ZM) with its office at A-504, The Crown, Opp. Kalhar Bungalows, Gangotri Circle, Nikol, Ahmedabad 382350, Gujarat, India. You can reach us at info@growncomedia.com.
We want every project to go smoothly, but plans change. This policy explains what happens if you cancel a project or a retainer, and when you can get a refund. It forms part of our Terms of Service. If your signed Proposal says something different, the Proposal applies.
1. Why advances are partly non-refundable
When you pay an advance, we reserve production time for your project, often turning away other work, and we start paying for AI generation credits, stock assets and freelancers. That is why refunds depend on how far the work has progressed.
2. Cancelling a one-time project
| When you cancel | What you pay / get back |
|---|---|
| Within 48 hours of paying the advance, before any work has started | Full refund of the advance, minus payment-gateway or bank charges |
| After work has started, during the brief, script or concept stage | 30% of the total project fee is kept; the rest of the advance is refunded |
| After production has started (avatars, voices, scenes or edits being created) | The full advance (50%) is kept; nothing more is due |
| After the first cut has been delivered | The full project fee is due; you receive the files completed so far once paid |
Cancellation must be sent in writing by email to info@growncomedia.com. The date we receive your email is the cancellation date.
3. Monthly retainers
- You can cancel a retainer by giving at least 15 days’ written notice before your next billing date.
- The current month that has already been paid is not refundable, and we will deliver the work planned for it.
- Unused deliverables do not roll over to another month unless we agree in writing.
- If a retainer has a minimum term in the Proposal, the fees for the minimum term remain payable.
4. When we cancel
If we have to cancel a project for reasons on our side before delivering, you get a full refund of the amount paid for the work not delivered. If we cancel because of a breach of our Terms or of our AI Content, Likeness & Consent Policy (for example, a request to create a likeness without consent or to make misleading content), the refund rules in section 2 apply.
5. What is not a reason for a refund
- Ad performance, such as views, clicks, sales or return on ad spend, because these depend on factors outside our control.
- A change of mind about creative direction after a script, concept or draft has been approved. Extra changes can be quoted.
- Delays caused by late feedback, missing materials or late payment from the client.
- Rejection of an ad by a platform because of the product, claims, targeting or account history.
If you are unhappy with a draft, tell us. Revision rounds exist to get it right, and we will always try to fix the problem first.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. Where GST was charged, we issue a credit note. Bank, gateway and currency-conversion charges are not refundable.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank or card company. Most problems can be solved quickly by email, and a chargeback for work that has been delivered will be contested with our records.
8. Contact
Email info@growncomedia.com with the subject “Cancellation” or “Refund”, and we reply within 2 working days.
